It is a distinct honor for Anderson County EMS to be one of the first, and one of the only three HART in Tennessee.  HART members will be trained in high angle rescue, swift water rescue, rescue swimmer and medical/trauma care.  HART will train with the Tennessee Army National Guard in rescue operations. Anderson County EMS employees will deploy with the the Tennessee Army National Guard in their Blackhawk helicopters to the East TN region and beyond.
